Ex Cel Pressure Washer By manwithadream on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

We had this pressure washer for over 5 years and had very good service from it. Unfortunately, the engine was just recently ruined because my son forgot to check the oil and burned up the engine. So word of advice, always make sure you keep your power washer well maintained. This Excell Power Washer has a 5.0 Briggs & Stratton engine with 1750 PSI with a usage of 2 GPM (gallons per minute). It comes with a ¼" x 25' hose and trigger control spray gun. The engine sets on a frame with a handle and 2 wheels for easy maneuverability.

A pull string, like a regular lawnmower engine, starts the engine. It could be hard to start at times. The other small problem we had was that it leaked slightly where the garden hose connected to the machine. It didn't seem to affect the way it worked.

This 1750-PSI worked well for cleaning outside furniture, our cars and our deck. It did have a little trouble removing the old stain on our deck for refinishing, but you do need at least a 3000 PSI to remove paint effectively.
