Excellent Non-Hormonal Birth Control

After having not used birth control in over 5 years, I was a bit overwhelmed with all the options now available.Since I was nursing our daughter, I didn't want to use any type of hormonal birth control, and it was going to be a while before my husband would follow through on his promise of getting the big "V", so we decided to try out condoms.

After being very unsatisfied with a regular box of condoms - they smelled like latex gloves and seemed to be very thick, which I'm sure we all know doesn't feel very good, I picked up a box of Durex Extra Thin, Lubricated condoms to try out.They claimed to be 20% thinner than other condoms, and they utilized some special multi-layer technology.When used correctly, they are claimed to be over 98% effective, which is always good!

I have no way of measuring the "thickness" of condoms to know if in fact these are the 20% thinner than they claimed to be, but I will say that they seemed to be thinner than the other condoms that we had previously used.There was a slight rubbery smell when they first come out of the package, but it disappeared quickly.The comfort of these Durex condoms was great, and I think this will be our condom of choice until hubby gets a vasectomy!
