Excellent Pool Table
By Tanya Pecora onThis table arrives in pieces in a box. Although the instructions are excellent, I would recommend having someone with some experience assembling furniture come over and give you a hand. If basic assembly seems daunting, it may be best to hire a professional. Assembling the frame is a snap. The 3 slate pieces are definately a chore, if you are confused simply google 'how to install slate on a pool table' and you'll find a plethora of info on the subject. Use a straight edge and to ensure the joints are flush. Use bees wax to fill the joints in the slate. It's recommended to use a blow torch and heat the joint, then rub in the wax until the gap is filled.Levelling the table is tough and time consuming, Having an extra body definately helps! The felt is another difficult job. You'll need an electric staple gun and a ton of patience. Alternately you can hire a professional and save yourself some agravation.
Pros:
Attractive
Durable and Sturdy
Playing Surface is Level
Finish
High quality
Excellent instructions
Cons:
Heavy and hard to carry 842 lbs
Felt wears easily, little knots form
Difficult to assemble, not for the faint of heart
This table is very sturdy and durable. There are some knots apearing on the felt, not a big deal, but if you're nitpicky it'll drive you nuts!
Oh, and don't be confused by what appears to be an identical product by the same manufacturer that is cheaper. It weighs half as much because the bed isn't slate.

Sounds great except for the assembly hassle.
i figured you saved money putting it together.
