The 42LG70 is a great HDTV. The picture quality is amazing at 1080p with a 120Hz refresh rate. When watching movies on the TV they almost seem three dimensional (I may be slightly exaggerating, but it is very much so a thrill). Picture movement is not choppy during a fast panning action scene due to such a high refresh rate.

The ease of use is overwhelming. The remote is a little boxy but the controls are more or less intuitive. Changing the picture quality is a snap, although for almost everything the "Intelligent Sensor" will pick the best combination. I will give one caution about the "ntelligent Sensor" if you have a Comcast remote, under certain picture/lighting settings the TV can interfere with the Comcast remote. This is weird, I know, however I would not allow that minor issue be reason for not buying.

The sound quality out of the TV is mediocre. It sounds a bit shallow and tinny when up high. I would recommend hooking it up to a surround sound system.

All in all, I strongly recommend this TV to anyone looking for a excellently priced TV with great picture quality and ease of use. That is, as long as you have, or plan on getting a surround sound system.
