Finally, a driving / racing game for Wii that's worth it.

Excitetruck is essentially an updated version of the Rush series (N64), and hasn't lost any of the excitement. The purpose of the game is to earn stars while racing around various parts of the world. Stars are earned from various stunts or manuvers, such as airtime and 360s.

The graphics are excellent as well. Even though maxing out at 480p, the graphics are amazing; the reflections are on point, the environments are beautiful, and the trucks are excellently detailed.

The controls in addition are extremely tight. For the first 5 minutes of gameplay, you'll feel a bit control-drunk, yet after the first half hour you'll assume a partial mastery. After extended gameplay, the sensitivity of the controls will be come a godsend, as you'll be performing more and more extreme manuvers.

Overall, this is a must own for those that have a Wii, and can realistically be a reason enough to buy the system. The controls, gameplay, graphics, multiplayer... every single element is desired. The only drawback may be the limitation of modes (i.e. no free-roam mode besides crash, or only 2 players instead of 4), yet these shouldn't stop you from purchasing the game.
