Exfoliating isn't just for women
By leon80 onI have a lot of pimples on my face during my teenage years though its slowly disappearing as I get older but oily face did not vanish through time which becomes utmost concern every now and then.Im only using facial soap before until I discovered Nivea men facial scrub and no using it regularly as my exfoliating cream because it effectively reduces my oil problem. Ive known this brand for beauty products exclusively for women but I think Nivea men product line was a new offering from this brand.
What about Nivea Exfoliating facial scrub?
Looking at the label, it says that Nivea Exfoliating face scrub contains combination of fine white/blue exfoliating particles. It contains Vitamin E and minerals that deeply works on the skin to unclog pores and clear away dead skin cells, facial oil and dirt. It also said to stimulate generation of new skin for a clearer, fairer skin at every wash. I like the deep blue shade of the packaging, very masculine color. This 75ml bottle comes with squeezable body and an easy to flip cap.
How to use:
Wet face with water. Squeeze small amount (pea sized) on your palm, rub a bit to create a foamy lather and apply it on your face, gently massaging in a circular motion but avoid contact with eye area. To effectively remove more facial oil, I would advise to use lukewarm water instead of just plain tap water because warm water opens up the pores of the skin. You can use cold water on last rinse instead if you want. I usually use this product as my facial wash after shaving. This product is recommended to use at least twice a week but I use it more often.
Overall:
I like the masculine scent of the scrub. You can feel the fine particles that acts like scrubber of oil and dirt but it disappears as it produce smooth foamy suds with continues lather. After each scrub, my face feels smooth, soft to touch and fresh. I love the lighter, oil-free face on every wash.I had been using for almost a year now and I notice my face becomes visibly clearer, whiter than before. Though my facial oil still keeps coming back but at least its effectively reduced. The price is a bit expensive than ordinary facial soap but it's worth the price when I tried it.

Try using Dove original soap, I started my brother on that, he had aproblem with really bad acne, and the products made for acne and oily prone skin just made things worse and dried out his skin, since using Dove soap his face has cleared up and doesn't feel dry!
I'm glad you found a product that works well for you and I was interested to read the comment on the Dove soap too.
I still have the oily t-zone but fortunately never got the acne or pimple break out. I just have to make sure that I don't use something that will dry out my face or the oil comes back. Dove is a soap that I can't use on my face because it has a tendency to dry my skin - even though it's made not to. For me I have used a scrub and then left it at that. I also don't use much facial makeup because that clogs the pores. Glad this scrub works. Thanks for the review.
