Explorer Globe By Brian Carden on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My father enjoys giving educational toys as gifts to my son. Two Christmas's ago was no exception. My father bought my son the Explorer Globe by Leap Frog. It did take my son awhile to figure out all of the features of the globe. Once he figured everything out he really enjoys playing with it. The Explorer helps children learn the different continents, countries, capitals and bodies of water. The child can learn these facts by placing the pen that is attached over the area. There is also a game mode feature. Questions will be asked and the child can then answer. If the answer is incorrect then a few clues are given. If the Explorer Globe is left unattended for several minutes there is an automatic shut off.
