Exploring God's Creation is a science curriculum for 3rd grade Christian students. The curriculum comes with tests, answer keys, and a textbook. The textbook is very hands on with an experiment for each day. I like the hands on approach, but I do not feel the book adequately explains the topics. I find I have to go online to get some of the answers for her which only makes more work for the both of us.

The experiments are easy and illustrated well. You can find most of the materials you would need lying around your house. Make sure your child knows not to do the experiments without you.

This course can be done in half a year, but from experience I know that this grade level tends to do history the first half of the year with science being done the second half.

If you are looking for a book with information, this is not it. If you are looking for a book with hands on experiments than this in the one for you.
