This is a nice pocket thermometer. It has automatic shut off and turn on. The probe comes to a point so it can be poked through soft surfaces. The only drawback is it's size. I wish it was a bit smaller. I am a HCAV technician where temperature is crucial. I have found this thermometer to be extremly acurate. It also has a hold function so you can keep the temperature you want. It also has a high and low function, which allows you to view the high and low temperature you recorded. I would recommend it to anyone in the market for a thermometer where the temperature they read needs to be acurate. Extech makes extremly reliable products that are both made with precision and resonably priced.
