I really love these Eyewitness travel guides. They have so much information packed into them! Tons of pictures, history, diagrams and background info of areas. Many diagrams of important sites. They do cut-a-ways so you get a feel for the places you may visit. Museum info such as paintings, where things are located, hours, location, how to get there. Transportation info. Airport information. They are heavy books so you may want to get them before your trip and do some research. May be a bit too heavy to carry around. Divides London into several chapters/sections. They suggest walks and things to visit in each area. These are even nice to save after your trip to reference because of the history in each one. You can go back and look up things. Great for travel agents.
