Faberware 1810 Clad Stainless Cookware
By Timekeeper onI was in the market for stainless steel cookware. The non-stick on a pan was scratching and I threw them all away! I didn't want my family to eat that. So I ended up at the Birch run outlet malls shopping with my family. They had a Farberware store and I found the 18/10 clad stainless steel items. They were factory over runs which really lowered the price. They are heavy and do a great job distributing the heat, once I get the pans up to temp I turn down the burner to I don't burn anything. (And it saves on the electric bill.) Being stainless I don't have to worry about my husband grabbing a metal spoon and stirring his soup with it. He cannot scratch the pan. They are simple pans with plain lids and with metal handles, if I am cooking several things on the stove I have to watch my handles so they don't get too close to another burner and get too hot. But on the plus side they can also go into the oven since they are all metal.
