Fable 2: Woman's Best Friend By Tara Meacham on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Fable 2 is the woman's best friend. What else can I say? Reserved for 18+ gamers due to content, this game lets you play a female character, swing swords, have R rated interactions with other players, and do all sorts of destructive and fun things. This should certainly appeal to female gamers who enjoy games like The Sims but might be uninterested in or intimidated by more 'hardcore' games which do not focus on role play and character development.

If you like working on a character's clothing in games like The Sims or World of Warcraft, there's plenty fo opportunity for you here. The controls are simple to learn and use and the game focuses primarily on plot. Whatever you do in this game has consequences and affects others' opinions of you.

Personally, I have been using this game to deal with pressures of real life. People expect me to look and act a certain way. In Fable 2, there are consequences, but it is easier to have a take charge, heroic attitude.

My only criticism is for the score. While it's entertaining, it could be more epic, like Warcraft.
