I love reading magazines and when I found one that my kids could also benefit from, I had to try it. Family Fun Magazine is put out by Disney, which to me is its first plus. The magazine has all sorts of articles in it. There is always a section with recipes. Many of these are kid friendly, meaning they are recipes with ingredients most kids like or that they are recipes that you can make with your kids. My kids love to cook, so this is always a good resource for us. They also always have really fun craft ideas. The magazine focuses on the current season or holiday and gives great ideas on everything from decorating to cooking to throwing a party. I love the current issue which gives great easy to make Halloween costume ideas. It also has fun "spooky" treats to make and great fall decorating suggestions. This magazine gives realistic ideas to everyday families. My kids caneven pick this up and flip through to find things that interest them. In that way, it's more like a magazine for the whole family, not just me.
