This book if purchased will prove invaluable if used in the correct way. What i mean by that is my sister began to read a similar book, and ended up quite poorly with her nerves because she imagined she had every ailment under the sun. This book is by The British Medical Association, and is a complete medical health reference. There are illustrations from the least common ailments to major disease and like. There are some gruesome pictures of ulcers and gangerine to really common conditions - like types of rashes and their cause and treatments. I find this book very useful and seem to be lending it out more than its at home. The diagrams of causes and treatments cover from A to Z of every condition you could think of.
