Fantastic Four

There is nothing fantstic about this movie. This is one of the worst pieces of celluloid that I have ever seen. It attempts to tell the story of the fantastic four and how they get their powers... what it does do is tell a very boring story and have a verbal pun pretty much every other second. To the human torch, "Wow, you're hot." The invisible woman, "I just feel so... invisible." It doesn't help that the acting is pretty crappy with Evaans and Chiklis doing their best to hold the ship together. But how many times do I need to see the thing break something? Yes, he's big, strong and awkward; I get it. And then the Thing's story is just about the dumbest thing (there's a pun) in the film. But the biggest problem with this film is that there is no story... there is no action in the action movie... superhero movies need their heros to have a foe and something for them to overcome. This movie doesn't even give them a bad guy until the very end of the fourth act. I would not recommend this film to anyone. It is everything that sucks in modern filmmaking.
