Febreeze Candles, Do Exactly What They Claim. By tldann on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I hate to cook bacon or cabbage or any strong smelling foods because the scent lingers in my bedroom for some strange reason. All the awful smells drift back from the kitchen into my bedroom and gets stuck for days.

So when they started advertising candles that supposedly eliminate the odors and not just cover them up, I was intrigued. At first I balked at the price $6.97 for a candle which seemed small. But I just had to try it. My house needed it bad.

So I sucked it up and bought one. Tried it and fell in love. It works just like they say it will. You light it and it starts to smell good almost immediately. But that isn't the best part. The best part is, it smells great and it actually pulls the offending smells out of the house and replaces them with the wonderful scent of the candle.

And after using it, it is well worth the price. Even though they look small, they last a long time. I have been using one candle since Thanksgiving (3 months ago).

So in summation, I love these candles, they do exactly what they claim, they are well worth the price and they last a very long time.

Buy one now, you will thank me later.

OK this is one of those products like you I would love to try but was afraid they would not work. Thank you so much for letting me know they actually do. My husband hates to come home some nights when I have cooked things like cabbage because he does not eat it and the smell in worse for him than it is for us who do. It would be great to light one of these after the kids and I eat our stinky foods and have the house smelling clean and fresh when he gets home. I goota try this.

I usually burn yankee's because they actually smell when buring them, unlike alot of candles that smell when you open them.. and then don't leave a strong enough fragrance while burning.. which are far more expensive than you state these are.. I may have to check them out!

Do you know if they are okay to use with allergies? Normal candles make me sneeze, but I would love to find something that would work to cover up the *ahem* child produced odors!

My son has allergies and they don't seem to bother him. Also the thing is, they don't COVER up the smell they actaully eliminate the odor from the air.

One candle lasting for 3 months! That makes it good value for money.

Of course, i don't burn it everyday, if you use it everyday it won't last that long.
