Febreeze.....Frees the Smoke Smell
By Momof2princess onFebreeze..we have all heard of it, seen the comercials but does it live up to all the hype.I was on a mission to find out.
As a former smoker lets be honest my car stinks. So a friend of mine suggested that I try the Febreeze. There are tons of scents out there to choose from so I opted for one that the name gave the effect of being light and fresh, I chose the Linen & Sky.Febreeze advertisies that this "Will leave your home smelling like fresh clean sheets blowing in the breeze."
The directions on the bottle are clear and concise.Simply spray the Febreeze onto fabric till it is slightly damp and when it dries viloa....fresh scent.
I used this on the interior of my car and the inital scent was very light, clean and fresh. The process was easy and the scent was not over powering. The lasting effects of the scent however only lasted about a day.
Overall the product is a good use for temporary cover-up of odors and provides a nice scent without being overpoweing.Worth the price, maybe...but an air freshener could do the job just the same.

I had a similar experience in that Febreeze only covers up smoke odors, not neutralizes them.
