Febreze Air Effects Air Freshener By Heartbreaker on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I had seen the commercials for Febreze Air Effects advertising its ability to "trap stale odors and leave a fresh scent." I like to cook, so I thought this would be the perfect thing to get rid of all the food smells I don't want lingering around my house.

Unfortunately, this product was a waste of money. It did the exact thing the commercials said it wouldn't do -- which is to just add flowery smells on top of unwanted odors. Every time I've used this product, it does nothing to cover up odor. Plus, it doesn't even smell good! I thought "Citrus and Light" would be a safe bet, because I love citrus. However, this product smells sickeningly sweet, and while it's overpowering at first, it quickly fades after just minutes, so that you'd never even know you sprayed it.

Unfortunately, I can't reccommend Febreze Air Effects. Maybe the other scents are more appealing, but I suggest you stay away from the Citrus scent!
