Federal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

I used to stay enjoy this hotel because it's right in the centre of the city and it's near a few of the main shopping spots in Kuala Lumpur but I later found it to be a bit too busy.

I love the fact that they have a huge lounge and reception, so you don't have to queue for too long to be serviced, and you can always hang out at the lounge.

They also have a pretty tight security and in order to use the lift, you must have a keycard with you. So, if your friend is visiting, you'll have to go down and bring them up.

They also have free wireless/wired internet, so that makes it suitable for business people. The room is also relatively bigger than other hotels I have stayed in. The hotel is pretty old but it is so well-maintained it looks totally new!
