Feel the Gentle Breeze of Hawaii?

So in my new apartment my room is the last room to get the air conditioning when it turns on.That means by the time the air reaches my room it's barely cold, nor not that strong so my room is always the hottest place in the apartment.Enter the Hawaiian Breeze tower fan.
I found this fan at Target for $19.99.I didn't have enough money for one of the fancy $60-$70 ones nor did I really think it was necessary to pay that much for one.So I picked this one up and brought it home.
It's a 30 in tower fan that also oscillates.Something I've never seen before in a fan but that it has is a delay timer to turn off after a certain amount of time when you are sleeping.I have yet to test this feature so I'm not sure how great it works yet.The fan also has 3 speed settings.
The only thing I'm unhappy about, but was to be expected from a $19.99 fan was that it's a bit loud.I can't really fall asleep to the sound of it but it's nice to have on before I go to bed.The breeze feels nice, I've never been to Hawaii so I'm not quite sure if it's equal to a Hawaiian Breeze and I doubt a Hawaiian Breeze is that loud, but it does its job.
The day after I bought this fan it went on sale at Target for $12.99 so me being the budget girl I am ran back to Target with my receipt to get a price adjustment, which they did no problem.
So if you are in need of a cheap fan to just cool you off with no fancy bells or whistles, this is your man.Oops...I mean fan!:o)
Target is a great store for finding just the right price. I think this one sounds great except for the feature you said you haven't tried yet. The timer to turn off the fan while you are sleeping? I would wake up because it would feel too hot! I don't think that would be something I would want to chance waking me up in the middle of the night. I leave my fan on all year long!
You live in such a hot humid climate I bet these sell out fast. The noise wouldn't bother me, being too hot would:)
That looks very practical for limited spaces. And it oscillates too? I wonder what angle it covers.
Good price, especially after the reduction. It may be a bit noisy but some people could get used to it or not find it a distraction.
How clever is this than the usual breeze box variety? Apparently companies are looking at style too.

I think tower fans are such a great idea-they really are space savers! Good for you for taking back your receipt to get the sale price-my kind of girl!
I love tower fan since it doesn't take up so much space and the price is affordable too. sorry though to hear about those noises from the fan.
I actually would like the loudness of the fan. I can no longer sleep without the white noise from a box fan! This tower fan sounds like a great deal. I'll definitely look into this fan if our fan ever goes kaput!
