Fenton Green Depression Glass Swan Dish
By elkper onThis beautiful swan dish was made by Fenton in 1938.It is made out of green vaseline glass which means that it glows under a black light.I think this dish is fabulous. It has a lot of detail and is interesting to look at in many different angles. You can purchase it on E-Bay for about $40.It is very rare to find it in mint condition, so I highly recommend purchasing this dish if you find it.It makes a great addition to any collection of Fenton, vaseline glass, depression glass, or swans. There is a lot of detail in the swans, down to individual feathers. The dish is about 6 inches from the tip of each swans head by about 8 inches in the other direction.I like to leave my dish empty so you can see the detail in the swans, but I suppose you could use it as a candy dish.

That is beautiful, I really love the color. And the fact it glows ;)
Nice info... good to get an idea of what things like that sell for. We toured a bunch of the pottery / glass museums and saw so many pretty things a couple of years ago.
