A little gold treasure chest of goodness. That's how I describe my favorite little candy! This is a special candy. I never knew exactly what was inside but I just knew I love it!
Inside this golden wrapped paper is an awesome treat. It has a milk chocolate shell over a whole hazelnut surrounded by hazelnut paste and crushed hazelnuts. Hazelnuts? Wow! I guess that is what I loved so much in this candy!
When I first saw the package I thought it had cherries inside. No cherries here, but the European version of Mon Cheri definitely has cherry filling.
This is a candy that would be great for a special gift. But if you feel like treating yourself, then don't wait for a special occasion. Run to the store and pick some up.
I highly recommend this candy!
