Festive Easy Clean Tablecloth By Jan Mayrhofer on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

With my daughter, her husband, and their two children staying with us for a short time while their house deal is going through, my cloth tablecloths were getting really dirty really fast. In a day's time of serving meals and doing homework at the kitchen table, it would need to be changed. I don't really have that many tablecloths so it was a little inconvenient to have to change it so often.

I decided to look for a vinyl, wipe-off type of cloth instead. I was browsing through the sales tables at Kohls, and was kind of looking for something other than the Fall cloths that were on sale. I was surprised to notice that they had one Christmas one for 50% off the regular price. The quality wasn't completely great, but it was the right size for my table, and I thought the children would enjoy it.

When my grand son got home from school and saw it on the table, he announced, "That is a cool tablecloth!" It's quite juvenile looking and that's just fine for now. It was very inexpensive and will save me having to launder my cloth ones so often.
