Few Instructions, Lots Of Aggrivation. By sweetums on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
This Kodak Digital Photo Frame was a Christmas gift for my grandparents. We wanted to upload photos onto the frame before giving it to them, so we installed the software on my computer and thought this would be pretty simple. Well, we were proven horribly wrong! Although the instruction book may have many different languages, it does very little for actually helping you to understand the software and actually figuring out how to get picutres uploaded into the software and then onto the digital frame itself. Uploading the software was not a big deal, we simply put the CD in and let it do it's own thing. Getting the pictures into the program from my computer files was also not a big deal, the problem came when I wanted to put the picutres onto the frame. There were no istructions on how to do this and it was all trial and error. Then when I uploaded a photo into the software on accident and deleted it, much to my horror it deleted that picture from my personal files on my computer! I was livid! After many swear words and many many hours of trying everything possible, we finally got the pictures onto the digital frame and they do look really great. The display has amazing clarity and is fun to watch after the many hours of fighting with it to get it to work.

Thanks for letting me know the difficulties you had using it, I won't be giving this to my tech unsavvy parents!
Ha ha ha... I bought a digital photo frame for my grandparents too and thought I would set it up for them and keep reloading it with new pics periodically. Well... here it still sits on my desk. Not as easy as I thought to get it grandparent ready!
