We purchased this fiber optic penguin 2 years ago at the after Christmas sales. You can't beat the price of $9.99 for this large lighted holiday decoration.

Our youngest daughter loves penguins so he's winging his way down right now to light up her apartment for Christmas.

This cute little guy makes me smile every time I see him and he has some great features:

**First, he is to be used for indoor use only and runs on three (3) AAA batteries (which were not included). No need to stretch a cord to a wall plug where someone might be walking or there's not enough plugs for everything!

**Our penguin is made of a hard plastic, yet has a surprising soft feel to him. He stands 16" tall and is 12" wide and deep. There are 3 rubber protective bumpers on the bottom to prevent any damage to furniture if you were to stand him on a table.

**He wears a red scarf decorated with white stars, has cute yellow web feet and beak, his eyes are blue and there are light blue snowflakes painted on his white belly. Altogether our little penguin makes quite a statement.

**The fiber optic comes through holes outlining his entire body and change color.
