I really love playing sports games back when the Sega Genesis was still hot. And this was one of the games that I spent a lot of time on playing. It's just enjoyable to play your favorite team and having them win in the tournament.

Fifa Soccer 97 is sort of shown in an oblique perspective, and is very exciting to play, especially if it's a tight match between you and the computer. Of course, the AI isn't too intelligent yet, as this is still Genesis, but it's still very fun to play. There are techniques that you can use over and again and exploit them to ensure that you win. Without cheating of course. I guess that's a bit of a downside.

But despite that, I still find this game very fun to play. I'd highly recommend that you add it to your collection.
