Fight Club the first novel that Chuck Palahniuk's wrote. If you've read any other things by him I really suggest you pick up Fight Club because I think it is one of his more stylized books. Fight Club is a story about a man that wants to escape our consumer culture. One of the first things that jumpstarts his transformation is Fight Club. Fight Club is a place where men come to show themselves by bare knuckle boxing. It's hard to describe this book without giving too much away. So the one thing I can easily say is that it is a great book. This is the first novel by Chuck Palahniuk that I ever read, and it hooked me. Chuck Palahniuk is now one of my favorite authors. I recommend this book to everyone, it is really great and it really makes you think about yourself and our culture
