When my husband and I got engaged eight years ago, we knew that we would have to get a filing system for all of our wedding plans, The "just throw it on the stack of papers on the counter" system was no longer working for us.
We went to Walmart, seeking out a filing system that was neither too expensive, nor too big (we were living in a small 2 bedroom apartment). We finally decided on the File 'N Go storage box. It measures 11 inches tall, 12 inches wide, and approximately 18 in It is made of a very thick tough plastic. You really can store anything in this box: toys, files, greeting cards!
A nice feature that this filing box has is built in side rails so you can use those sliding cardboard files. We found that we filled this filing box up very quickly. There is also no lock on this box which I consider to be a downfall. Overall, this is a good filing box, if you are looking for something compact. We now use this box to store our children's art and school work in when our refrigerator is at full capacity!

I still use the just throw it on the counter method, but this one seems better.
I have several of these boxes. They are great for filing stuff that you don't need every day, and you can stack them at least three hight without any damage.
I do need help with filing,this sounds great.
