Final Fantasy Tactics By Nostrum on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This game is for the original Playstation.

The story revolves around a young noble, Ramza, who gets caught up in a war with no clear sides and even less clear motivations.

The job system is wonderful and adds a lot of re-playability, since there are so many different part combinations. The graphics are cartoony and quite detailed, and have aged very well due to a fantastic art style.

The game is long and has a LOT of content, there are tons of secret areas and it's great for completionists. Casual gamers will enjoy it too since each battle only takes maybe 30 minutes to complete and you can save right after.

The only downside is the very poor translation. Occationally item names will be wrong and the story is very complicated and can be confusing due to bad English.

both my boys love this original Final Fantasy game. They've played it for hours upon hours. Even though the newer versions have better graphics, this one truly is a classic of the genre.
