Final Fantasy Vii: Advent Children By Shawn By Shawn on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children was originally the first part of a massive influx on the original classic. Fans hoped for some tied up loose ends and a bunch of entertainment. While the film may have only created a dozen more plot holes, the entertainment was spot on. One of the most incredible visual experiences you'll see this lifetime (Yes, even 300 takes a backseat to the CGI featured in this film), Advent Children doesn't disappoint when it comes to throwing you flurries of relentless action.

On the other hand, the film does have a tendency to get a bit stale when the dialogue takes center stage. Fans of the game will eat up all of the otherwise average conversation. Then again, if you're not a fan of the game then you probably won't have any idea what's going on from the jump.

Overall, Advent Children is an entertaining thrill ride; just don't expect to come out of the experience with a better understanding of any laws of nature or philosophical ideas
