I have reddish-brown hair, and fair skin, and I've had more than a few horrible sunburns in my lifetime. So now, I try to stay out of the sun as much as possible. But with my fair skin, I look like a ghostly version of Snow White most of the year. So in order to look better, I've tried quite a few tanning lotions. Yes, I've had my share of times when I woke up and resembled a Florida navel orange. I am so tired of tanning lotions that smell bad and turn me a pumpkin color.

But never one to lose faith, I tried yet another product, and I loved it! It is Banana Boat Summer Color Sunless Tanning Lotion. I got the Light/Medium shade. The lotion had a light brown color to it, which is helpful when applying it. (You can see where the lotion's going.) It is hypoallergenic and it dries quickly. It only had the faintest smell--nothing like most of the other lotions I've used. It felt nice on my skin, and not sticky like some of the previous lotions.

When I woke up--I didn't look like Miss Orange or Polly Pumpkin!!!! I had a tan--a beautiful tan, without streaks! Yes!!!!! Okay, to be honest I did see a couple of darker spots around my heels and feet, but compared to most previous lotions, that was very minor. (One lotion left a dark ring around my belly button. Very attractive...NOT.)

My "tan" lasted for about 4 days or so, and would have lasted longer, if I'd had the time to reapply as directed. If you've tried various tanning lotions with no luck, give this one a try. Banana Boat Summer Color Sunless Tanning Lotion also got rave reviews on other sites, so many people feel it is a good choice. I'm sure glad that I found it!
