as a 3d graphic designer i was always looking for more realism, so you would think that i would go through a LOT of rendering systems, but i finally found one that solves all my needs and gives everything that great hint of realism, its finalRender Stage-1 R2 for Autodesk 3ds Max 9, it can be obtained at www.cebas.com for around $995.00 flat for the full package which includes some free extras like finalShaders which itself is normally about $200 so its quite the value, but onto the rendering system itself i would have to say it it THE best renderer i have ever used, with just a bit of tinkering i get very high realism in my renders making my life a lot easier and of course it makes my work just that much better, i am and always will be impressed with this software as it is THE greatest i have ever seen and used, i would recommend it to any 3d designer or architectural developer and so on because it will continue to please throughout the years.
