This Faber-Castell fine marker is specifically for labelling CDs/DVDs, glass or plastic, or even metal surfaces. It is waterproof and permanent.

The marker does not emit any strong acetone like scent which I find very appealing considering the last permanent marker I bought was completely opposite. The fine print of this marker is suitable for labelling the abovementioned surfaces. It is just as big as any common ballpoint pen and comes with a cap that does not get loose with numerous openings.

The marker has also a nice extra with it - the eraser! Yes, it has an eraser so when you mistakenly written something on the item you are labelling, you can actually erase and replace it with a different text. I tried erasing the one I have written on the DVD and it did work!

It comes in blue, black and red but I bought the blue marker since most of my markers are in black, just for variety's sake.

I really trust everything Faber-Castell.
