First Act Amplifier By Brian Carden on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I bought the First Act Amplifier for my son as a Christmas gift. He can use the amplifier with his First Act Guitar. This amplifier is great for anyone who is learning to play the guitar. The amplifier is very compact and only weighs 3.5 llbs. It also has 4 watts of output power and 4" speakers. The on/off button is on the back of the amplifier. You can connect an electronic guitar or another musical instrument by connecting to the input jack on the front of the amplifier using a power adapter. You can turn the "tone" knob clockwise and it will add treble and reduces the bass. Turning the knob counterclockwise add bass and reduces the treble. The volume on the First Act Amplifier is very clear. If you turn the volume up to the highest level it will probably be a little distorted. My son really enjoys using this amplifier with his guitar. He plays every evening out in our garage. I like the amplifier because the volume doesn't get too loud but just enough for my son to play.
First Act Amplifier Purchased at: Walmart Price: $30.00

Great amp for someone learning to play...
I had no idea Walmart even sold amps. Thank you for the information, you never know when it will come in handy.
I bet you as a parent love the fact that this doesn't get too terribly loud!! I'm like Miss Dsnygirl-I didn't know that WalMart sold these!
