First Act Electric Guitar By Brian Carden on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

First Act guitars are available in two levels, professional grade and student grade. The model that I bought my son is the student grade. It is a reasonably affordable guitar available at Walmart. The body and neck are well made. The body has a nice single cutaway design. The neck has a flat radius with twenty one frets. This model has one humbucker pickup with one tone and one volume knob. The bridge is adjustable for intonation. Although, I would prefer the bridge to be a through body model. That would give the strings more sustain. The tone is a bit flat with the strings stopping at the bridge. The frets on the neck are a bit sharp on a few of the edges, but are done alot better than most economy guitars. All in all it is a good tone for your typical garage band or as a practice guitar. But if you are a bit more serious about music I would stay clear of this guitar and save it for the less experinced or beginner.
