First Aid Cots By bubbacat on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Ouch! Ever get a nasty cut right on the tip or side of your finger? A bandaid just won't cover it! The skin gets worse and worse. It won't heal because you keep using that finger to complete your work or chores. I found Flents First Aid Cots to be an alternative to the good old bandaid especially for the finger. Cots are made of latex and slip right on your finger to cover the cut. This gives the area time to heal. You can continue with your work without subjecting that area to repeated pressure. Repeated pressure to an open area can cause so much pain. Cots protect burns, cuts and blisters. Remember these are for the finger tips and will only cover from the tip to about the middle of the finger. You can use water with these on ,such as washing the dishes. The box contains about 36 cots of various sizes for thumbs too. Wearing these for several days will give your skin the time it needs to complete the healing process. If a bandaid works for your finger but keeps coming off, try putting a cot over the bandaid for added protection and reinforcement. Cots can also be used for use with suppositories, and hemorroidal creams/ointments to protect the skin. All in all, this is a temporary solution for cuts-burns-blisters on the finger tips until healed.
