I bought this laptop online from Dell Malaysia for my son to bring over to UK because everybody is telling me that buying laptop in Malaysia is much cheaper than in UK. This laptop has all the multimedia features and high end components for home use. It can also be highly customised for individual needs and my son customised it to play games.

Pros. I give a BIG PLUS for Dell online on the site service. My son's six month old laptop monitor broke down on the first day he stepped on UK soil. Being so new to UK he feels helpless and without laptop he cannot communicate with UK personnel . Hence I help him to email DELL Malaysia who very promptly give me an online form to fill in to be sent to DELL US because his warranty at that time only covers Asia Pacific region . DELL US , after 3 days, transfer his warranty to UK DELL. The very next day DELL UK sent an engineer right to his university hostel to replace his LCD monitor without a second question asked or paying a single cent. This is what I call first class service.

Additional thought: Now whenever my friends ask me which laptop brand to buy, without a second thought I recommended nothing but DELL.
