First Tennessee Bank Review

I've been a customer of First Tennessee Bank for over 5 years. I have a checking account with them. I buy products online regularly so I think i'm more vunerable to online theft but I do my best to only purchase from legit web sites along with other precautions.

I always type in the domain name of a web site before I buy which is the most protective means of avoiding a mirror web site. A Mirror Web Site is a copycat web site that looks identical to a web site you might buy from but fraud based. I also use Virus Protections Software but it may not be enough as i've still had unauthorized charges on 2 occasions.

First Tennessee Bank caught 2 unauthorizd charges before I could ever know about them. Their Security Center called me up and asked me if I remembered the 2 charges to my account. I told them I didn't and they canceled the Unauthorized Charges. I could have had my whole account wiped out if it wasn't for First Tennessee so i'm greatly satisfied with their service. Who knows exactly how I got the Unauthorized Charges but I would assume its more than likely to occur online. Despite this occuring I'm very comfortable buying online. This is very rare considering how much I have purchased online.

Their Maintenance Fee of $9.00 a month is high when compared to other banks but its worth it for me considering what could have happened. If your a TN Resident I highly recommend First Tennessee Bank.
