I have owned the Fisher Price Lights and Sounds Dual Monitor for over two years now, ever since my son was born. It is really amazing how versatile this little monitor is! You really think, "Yeah, it's a monitor and?" But it really gives you that feeling of comfort and has great qualities you wouldn't normally think to look for in a monitor. For instance the light indicator. I know when I first saw it I thought it wouldn't make much of a difference since I would be listening for him anyway. When your baby is having a fit because they have to sleep in their own rooms and just scream and scream, this monitor really comes in handy! You can turn the sound off, but still watch the lights for when they fall asleep while saving your eardrum. When you do want to hear what's going on the sound quality is awesome! I can keep the monitor on the lowest setting and still hear every word this crazy child mutters when he first wakes up. A must for every parent!
