Fisher Price Little People Lil Kingdom Castle By jessica52877 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is a little people toy that we have enjoyed. It is pink and so mainly geared for girls of course but my will also play with it. It is recommended for ages 1 1/2 plus but my son didn't start really playing with it in a role play manor until he was atleast 3, he is almost 5 now though and still enjoys it. He likes kings and dragons so that is a plus that this is a castle set.

It is super easy to clean and I as a parent enjoy that. The people and accessories can be tossed in the dishwasher so they are sanitized and all. Especially good if other kids were playing with it at playgroup or something. The main castle does take batteries so I wipe it clean with wipes or water and detergent.

This does light up and make a few sounds, not too many, but enough to get the childs attention when they are younger. My son does make it make sounds every once in a while but he more into the role play of it.

I think alot of toys are overpriced now a days and this is one that is still on the cheaper side of little people toys but still alot for what it is. It is right in line with other toys and prices though, best to be bought when there is a sale.

I would recomment this toy and it is fine for the younger ages, just don't expect too much play right away with it, or atleast more realistic play. They do make it in a regular gray also and sell other castle accessories to go along with it.
