In the onslaught of teen-aged looking dolls, I was relieved when my five year old daughter asked for a dollhouse for Christmas. I had no idea how hard it would be to find a reasonably priced and sturdy dollhouse. Thank goodness for Fisher Price!

Although I had to have a friend pick up the Fisher Price Loving Family Twin Times Dollhouse at her Wal Mart in a town 45 minutes away, it was worth the hassle. This dollhouse is three stories of open rooms, big enough for small hands to get furniture in and out of.

The construction of the dollhouse is all plastic. The few pieces that had to be assembled simply snapped in place. The plastic is not overly sturdy, and could crack with one hard fall, but because the pieces simply snap in and out of place, small problems are easy to repair. What the dollhouse lacks in sturdiness, it makes up for in cleanliness. This all plastic house can withstand numerous washings and disinfectings, without damaging any of the surfaces. The plastic construction also discourages mold or bacteria from sticking around.

The included accessories were a family of five, with mom, dad, older sister, and a twin boy and girl. There was a complete bedroom set, nursery set, kitchen and living room included. Accesory sets are easy to find and inexpensive, so the fun can continue.

With endless possibilities for arranging furniture and plenty of working doors and open space within the house, it has been a big hit for our daughter.
