Fisher Price Rainforest Jumparoo
By Jessica Ne onThis is the Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumparoo. We recently purchased this for our daughter to help her get experience standing up and using her legs. I love this toy! It took a few days for my daughter to get used to it but now she goes crazy when I put her in it. She starts jumping, giggling, and interacting with the toys.
The jumparoo was pretty easy to assemble. I added a picture of how it arrived. It only took around 20 minutes to assemble. One reason why this toy is great is that as a baby jumps, it activates the music. This helps them learn that jumping and using their legs is the key to making the music play and the lights flash.
On the jumparoo, toys are all around the child and the seat spins to help the child get to them all. Somehow my daughter always ends up at the enclosed sun that spins. It has a rainbow coming down from it and a little tiger that pops out. On the other side there is a spinning lizard and a cute bug on a flower. That is another favorite of my daughters. She can bring it over to her.
The front section is the part that plays music and has some flashing lights. There is an elephant, bird, and monkey. There is also a drum that spins that has pictures of different animals. When the child interacts with this section animal noises play and the music starts. Two hanging leaves come down from the frame and they have soft toys hanging down.
The jumparoo has a 3 position height adjustment so as the child gets taller, you can move them up. It requires 3 AA batteries. The seat is very soft. It all weighs 25 pounds and is 43.125"H x 32"W x 37"D.
This seat is for children who can hold their head up unassisted and can not climb out or walk. The maximum height for this is 32".
This is a really great toy and a great way to keep a child entertained! Some cons of this activity center is that it is pretty large. It takes up a lot of room and it is a little frustrating to move around. Another thing I worry about is the leg holes in the seat. I wish they were a little more "giving". I have heard that it can leave marks on chubby babies because the leg holes are too small. I think it would be nice if the holes had a little softer fabric and was stretchy. It just seems like it would be a little uncomfortable. But I would still recommend this toy because it has huge benefits for a child!

That Fisher Price Rainforest Jumparoo sure comes FULLY LOADED! I don't think that they could pack one more gadget on that thing if they tried!!! I have to say that your baby looks soooo cute in the picture!
Cute pics! We had the regular jumparoo and it was a big hit here too.
What a fun looking toy! It looks so bright and cheery. I wish they would have had these when my daughter was a baby. Sounds like it is very much enjoyed!
This does look so fun! I never saw these around when mine were babies!
Wow! That is a busy looking toy! I'm sure she never gets bored there with so many things to do.
My daughter loved her Jumparoo. Didn't last past the 1st year but it was great to keep her occupied in the ealier months. Gave me a few minutes to get things done as well!
Great pictures! I love this. They did not have anything like this when my kids were little. We had the kind that hung in the doorway. This is so much nicer, thanks for sharing it.
It's so bright and colorful. I love it. Very cute pictures too.
We had a similar toy and loved it. It was one of my son's favorites.
We have that same toy. My youngest still loves it - although for shorter periods of time now - then she wants to be moving again. My 2.5yr old loves to climb in it too - that's pretty funny to watch.
