The Fisher Price Rainforest Open-Top Cradle Swing is one of two swings in this line; the other is a small portable swing that folds up small for travel. Needless to say, this is a large swing, about four feet high, and is NOT portable. It is designed on the same Rainforest theme as the other items in this line, so has bright engaging colors and jungle sounds as well as music.

It's easy to put babies into the swing; the mobile arm swings up to allow easy access to the seat, and the bar on the seat keeps baby secure even if you don't want to strap her into the belt. You also have the option of side-to-side or front-to-back swinging - very nice.

You have the option of either AC or DC operation; I only use it plugged in, as I have outlets everywhere. You can flip up the mobile and fold the two side legs together to transport from room to room, but it is awkward and heavy. Otherwise, this is the best swing I could have gotten my baby.
