Fisher Price Rain Forest Open Top Cradle Swing By Sweet Grl By SweetGrl on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Initially I had gotten my daughter the Papasan Natures Touch Swing because the seat looked so comfortable which it was. It was cuddly but it had more cons than pros. The flaws where that it didn't rotate on all three directions (I had to move the whole swing in order for her to face me), the color and mobile weren't attractive and the toys were attached on the top where she couldn't even reach. The mobile didn't have bright colors, she would look at it for a few seconds and that's all, it never caught her eye, you can't even tell if the butterflies (I hope that's what it was) moving. The top wouldn't move, it was hard to put her in and out of the swing, It didn't have an reclining option eihter. So after that I got her the rainforest open top cradle swing since it looked so colorfull. As soon as I set it up she was totally attracted to the colors. The mobile was so bright and the toys were dangling she tried reaching for them. It had reclining option, it rotated on all three directions (I didn't have to move the whole swing to have her facing me), the top mobile moved out so I can easily take her out and put her in. And the most important feature is that it has option of batteries and wire. I have it plug into an outlet and don't have to worry about new batteries every couple of weeks. She loves the swing. It can also easily fold with one button in the back, the other swing had 2 pins which needed to be puched in really hard in order for it to fold. It's worth the money.
