Fisher Price Rainforest Waterfall Soother By Tina Lehman By Tina Lehman on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

We have one of these hanging in our son's crib, and use it to help him get to sleep at night. He is fascinated by the lights, bubbles, and peek-a-boo motions of the characters. The music is soothing, and has rainforest birds and frogs chirping in the background. There are different volumes, and some of them are loud enough to play over any white noise you having going in the room.

On one mode it plays 18 minutes of music. Another setting plays 12 min of music and lights. A final setting will play 6 minutes of music, lights, and motion. My son seems to prefer the music, lights, and motion and sometimes 6 minutes isn't long enough so I have to come and reset it. Another drawback is that the light seems a bit too bright.

The battery life seems quite good, as I've only changed the batteries once in 7 months.

The age range is between birth and 36 months, but I am not sure a three year old will get as much out of it as an infant.

How adorable. I think this would make a great holiday gift for the little ones !
