I bought this monitor thinking Fisher Price would make the best. Boy was I wrong! We have a small two bedroom apartment and this monitor starts making static when you go farther than 15 feet from the base unit. There are lights that go off when noises are being made by the baby, but they also go off all the time because of the constant static. The unit is easy to use, but that is the only good thing I can say about this product. There are two channels to try, A and B, but both gave me the constant annoying static with lights going off. There is no way a parent could try and sleep with that monitor next to their bed. It makes me noise than an angry baby. Usually Fisher Price makes great products, but not this time. I am looking for a monitor that is silent!
