Fisher Price Sounds n Lights Monitor
By Amy Nil onIf you are looking for a simple baby monitor, I would suggest checking out the Fisher Price Sounds 'n' Lights monitor. Here are some things that we considered when purchasing a baby monitor:
1.We live in a smaller house. Our son's room is next to ours, and he spent his first months in our room. The purpose of this baby monitor, for us, was to allow us to hear him crying when we were at work upstairs, in the basement, or outside while he was napping.
2.We are the only people in our immediate neighborhood with a young one.We didn't think interference would be an issue for us (it wasn't).
3.We weren't really interested in spending a lot of money for a monitor, and didn't have the need for any bells and whistles.
This monitor really worked well for us.The sound quality was not crystal clear, but we could hear when our son would turn over, or start to wake up.We did not have issues with interference, even when working in the yard.
We did not have this monitor on for long periods of time, and there was an indicator to let us know when the batteries were low.We used rechargeable AA batteries, and only ended up switching them out 3-4 times.
The night light on the transmitter was pretty useless to us.I did like the light indicator on the monitor so that I could "see" when my little one was active.
Overall, if you are looking for a no-frills baby monitor, I would check this one out.It worked well for us!

Thanks for the info, sounds like a good product
