Five Finger Death Punch, New Metal? By Nicholas Harrell on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Five Finger Death Punch's debut album "The Way of the Fist" brings back the metal. I personally am not a huge fan of the newer metal bands out there these days, but after sitting down with this cd and checking out the tracks, I can say that this one has grown on me a lot. Not a full blown metal album as in terms of thrash or power or even death metal, these guys have combined a lot of styles together to make their own sound. With heavy riffs and great lyrical content, you are drawn in to this cd. Only drawback being is that a couple of the songs have very similar riffs in them, and to me that makes it harder to pick out songs. But tracks like Ashes and The Bleeding are very stand out to me. Stop by their myspace or pick this cd up if you are a metal fan looking for something new.

These people are awesome. I love Bleeding and Never Enough. I have not bought the CD yet, but I want it bad. I would like to hear Ashes the song you was talking about. Who am I kidding I want to hear to whole CD. My favorite part on the Bleeding is, " As wicked as you are, your beautiful to me, (love the next scream) your the darkest burning star, you my perfect disease." I love it!!!!
