This has quickly become my son's favorite book. He is 20 months and has had the book for about 6 months. The book is falling apart because he has read it so much so the durability could be better. The face of the five monkeys show up on the front of the book and then one by one they disappear as the monky's fall off the bed. My son loves looking for where the monkey's went.
The storyline of the book is a classic children's story but this book adds fun through colorful illustrations and the aforementioned monkey's disappearing throughout the story.
I have also seen the same book in a larger version with seven monkey's. Piggy Toes Press has similar books with disappering characters and they are popular with my child also but this is his favorite by far.

This was a song similar to this book that my children learned in preschool. When we had grandkids we taught them this song too. I would love to have this book for them.

My son loves this book. Both my wife and I have read it to him some many times we know the story by heart.
My daughter loves this book! I read it to her a few times day and ALWAYS at bed time. :)
