Flaking Exfoliating By Chocollette on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
This is a relatively new skin care line formulated by an African American dermatologist named Dr. Susan Taylor and is geared to people who have brown skin. I have only tried one product from this line and plan on incorporating it with my current skin care.
The Bright & Even Exfoliating Moisturizer is for uneven skin tone with hopes of brighter, healthier skin emerging after using it. I have a problem with dark spots on my chin area so I only use the moisturizer on that area. You are instructed to use the thinnest layer possible & within a few minutes, rub that area and "flakes" (dead skin) slough off. After that, you can put another thin layer of the moisturizer on and also use it twice a day. I have used this for about three weeks and the dark areas are now starting to lighten so I will continue to use this. It is fun to see the flakes on the skin!!

I've heard of this Dr. before, but never this product. Thankd for the info on it! :-)
Sephora has some really very good products in their line. Two of my friends are Afro American, and are experiencing bad problems related to those dark spots. I'll have to tell them about this product Chocolette. Thank you:)
It is so great to find a product that you can actually SEE work. How cool! I have yet to shop at a Sephora but someday soon I will. I never had a problem with uneven skin tone till I got pregnant. Amazing things happen to your whole body after that lol. So now I would love to find a product that makes my skin even. Great information!
Odd, how with all the emphasis on colors of makeup to enhance how your face looks, that there seems to be so little attention paid to the huge range of shades of skin that people have to put all that stuff on! Sounds like you found a product that really helps you! Thanks for sharing.
Sounds like aNother great product, I agree it is nice getting to actually see something work like it is suppose to.
